Le Grand Bossonnet
You'll just need to cross the road from this stunning La Clusaz apartment to get to the Bossonnet ski lift and ski school - no traffic jams and no parking worries! And when you return at the end of a great day in the Aravis mountains, you can leave your ski equipment in your ground floor ski room and head in to the village for an apres-ski beer.
This 5-star apartment has been fully-refurbished to provide comfortable, contemporary accommodation for up to 10 guests (nine adults) in four bedrooms with three bathrooms. You won't need a car when you stay here but if you want to bring one, the apartment has a double garage with electric car chargers.
La Clusaz has a great selection of bars, shops and restaurants, as well as a weekly market where you can pick up local produce. There are more shops and supermarkets in nearby Thônes (12km), and the medieval town of Annecy (32km), with its beautiful lake, is a great place for a day out.
Outside the ski season, the village boasts a modern watersports centre providing activities for all ages and a wellbeing area. The nearby Lake Annecy is another great place for swimming, paddleboarding, and sailing.
About the property
When you arrive at this stylish apartment in the centre of La Clusaz, you'll appreciate having your own double garage. Just park your car up and head in to the ground floor, where you'll find your private ski room with boot warmer.
Take the lift to level 2 - there is only one apartment per floor in this three-storey building, so the lift opens directly in to your hallway. There's a WC on your right and the spacious open-plan living area on your left.
Curl up on the cosy L-shaped sofa around the fire, or head to the separate television room to watch a film on the Samsung Frame TV or read a book. The modern kitchen is equipped with top-of-the-range appliances and has everything you need to cook for a large group. The large dining table has plenty of room for everyone to eat together, and there's a breakfast bar where you can just grab a quick snack before heading out.
The living area opens on to a spacious covered balcony with a wonderful view of the pistes and the gondola. There's room to sit out here and enjoy a meal, or perhaps a vin chaud or hot chocolate as you watch the weekly flood-lit descent.
Le Grand Bossonnet has four bedrooms: two double rooms with access to the balcony; another double room with a shower room, and a family room with a double bed, a set of bunk beds and an en suite bathroom. There is also a separate shower room and WC. Three of the bedrooms have televisions.
About the area
La Clusaz is an authentic mountain village which blends tradition with up-to-date facilities. Its traditional chalets and lively streets offer a vibrant setting with Savoyard charm. Nestled in the heart of the Aravis massif, it is only 30 min from Annecy and close to Le Grand-Bornand and Manigod. Its warm atmosphere and easy accessibility make it a popular destination year-round.
In winter, the resort provides easy access to the Aravis ski area, offering 210km of pistes that combine long descents and technical sectors across La Clusaz, Le Grand-Bornand, Manigod, and Saint-Jean-de-Sixt. The region also offers a variety of winter activities, including cross-country skiing, dog sledding, sledging, snow biking, ice diving and ice skating.
During the rest of the year, numerous hiking and biking trails lead to superb views over the Aravis, such as the Plateau des Glières. The village boasts a modern watersports centre providing activities for all ages and a wellbeing area. The nearby Lake Annecy is another great place for swimming, paddleboarding, and sailing. Other summer activities include via ferrata, climbing and paragliding, leaving you with a wealth of memories to take home.

The OVO Network Review
Le Grand Bossonnet is a second-floor apartment for 10, with four bedrooms and three bath/shower rooms. Its location couldn't really be better, just across the road from the main gondola in La Clusaz, and a couple of minutes' walk from the centre of this lively village.
Parking is at a premium in La Clusaz, so the apartment's double garage is a real bonus, as are the electric car chargers. But with all the village facilities on your doorstep, and the ski bus stopping just across the road, you won't need to drive to discover the area.
The apartment has been recently refurbished to a high standard, with top-of-the-range appliances. The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped and has a breakfast bar which is great for a quick snack or even cocktails! The dining table makes the most of the view, and there are two cosy seating areas - one around the fire and the other around the television.
The covered balcony can be used at any time of year, providing shade on sunny days and shelter when the weather isn't quite so good. With a wonderful view of the piste and the mountains, there's always something going on.
The centre of La Clusaz is just a short walk from the apartment, and if you'd like to explore further afield, the ski bus will take you to the ski stations of Le Grand Bornand and Manigod. The medieval lakeside town of Annecy, with its canalside restaurants, food and antique markets and lakeside beaches is a 32km drive - and it's really worth a visit!

As a Breton who travelled across the country every year to go skiing with my parents, I have always dreamed of owning a property in the mountains.
It was an easy decision to look for a property in La Clusaz - it's an authentic Savoyard village that's dynamic, easily accessible from Lyon or Geneva, and it has plenty of very good restaurants.
We got the chance to invest in a new-build chalet, Le Grand Bossonnet, is in a great location. At the foot of the ski lifts (Telemix Le Bossonnet), the mountain bike and hiking trails and just a few minutes' walk from the centre of the village, you can walk everywhere you need.
Our apartment has all the modern comforts of home, and is built using traditional materials with geothermal underfloor heating, a private lift, a charging point for electric cars and a ski room with a boot warmer.
Once we're there, we just don't want to leave ...
